Re: Quark Website / Home Page

The Web layout tools in QuarkXPress have not been actively progressed for several releases and indeed were removed in version 10. Even when the Web tools did exist within QuarkXPress, they were never designed for large scale Web deployments, which generally involve databases, a Web content managemen...

How to export from QuarkXpress to XML

Hi there, If you're referring to Atomik Xport, I believe it's XTensions software that gets installed on the local client machine in the QuarkXPress XTensions folder. You would need to check with Easypress Technologies to find out the details. Gavin

How to export from QuarkXpress to XML

JP, while that sounds like a simple question and request, it's pretty complicated. XML (valid XML that is) is a structured content format, like data in a database. What's on your page in QuarkXPress is not highly structured. Sure it has styling which implies some structure e.g. this is a heading, th...

Quark 10 Very, Very Slow on Mac Pro...

Just upgraded to 10.0.2. It's still slow. Not what-the-hell-were-you-idiots-thinking slow, just 1990's slow. Please fix this and stop lying to us. It's not like anyone would use this pile of crap and think it's acceptable. And while it is more acceptable than what you released, it's far from anythi...

News about QuarkXPress 9 on Mavericks

I think you're getting a little confused so let me see if I can help. QuarkXPress 9.3.1 is a previous release of QuarkXPress 9 and does NOT support Mavericks. If you would like to run QuarkXPress 9 on Mavericks you need to download the free update for all QuarkXPress 9 users, which is called QuarkXP...

News about QuarkXPress 10

Thanks ipisanec. Unfortunately your email doesn't appear to have made it to me but I'll pass this along to the team. Thanks for taking the time to outline these details. The 10.0.2 release is almost exclusively focused on performance issues. The next update will cover a wider gamut of issues and add...

Quark XPress 10 is just a mess

Indeed any news? Pre-ordered on 24th July (5 months so far!?). Gathering dust since then. As stated elswhere in this forum NEVER happened to me in 20+ odd years of purchasing software. What is also worrying is that no major Mac news outlet has so far reviewed v10 Reviews that I've seen so far Digit...

I'm having the exact problem with downloading the update! I've attempted several times. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! Without specific information it's impossible for us to provide any help on this. What we would need would be the following: 1. The file you're trying to download e.g. QuarkXPress 9.5.4 Mac ...

Tried FireFox and I've got the same problem. It gets to around 30 mg then freezes. I'll have to try the memory stick route. Grrrrr!! If you happen to speak with your ISP and they have any specific technical feedback, please let me know. If we have this information along with your external IP addres...
