What version are you using of XPress and Illustrator?
How are you making your PDF? Export as PDF with PS file - you mention Acrobat?

Hummm -

Here is a work around to try.
In some PPDs turning on collate, seems to solve the issue.

Give it a try and let me know if this works for you.

Hello - These steps you have included are for Mac only. To get a PS file on Windows, Go to Edit>Preferences>PDF>Create PS for later Distilling. Then go to Export >Layout as PDF. Hi Grgoire - Layers are supported in PDF version 1.5 (Acrobat 6) and above. QuarkXPress 7 creates a version 1.4 PDF. Unfortunately we don't support layers in PDFs. How are you using these layered PDFs? I will add this enhancement request. Thanks for the post - it is good to know what users are doing...
