Have to learn forms--where do I start?

Change of plans:

Q documentation for this doesn't impress me. I'm going to use Acrobat Pro or LiveCycle Designer for all my forms.

Seems a lot easier, because they have all of the For Dummies (that's me) tutorials that I'll need to get these forms done by end of week.

Have to learn forms--where do I start?

Well, I just went to the Yahoo support pages, and I'm already totally confused.

I guess I should first learn how to build and design the forms--and then figure out how to make it work with Yahoo.

Have to learn forms--where do I start?

Oy vey. I have to become an expert in this by the end of the week. I understand that my host (Yahoo) has something to do with this, but first things first.
I have the Q manual in front of me, so let me read and take this step by step.

I want my mommy.

Embedding Youtube in a Quark Web Layout?

Test: My previous post hasn't appeared yet! ------------- Okay--back in business. Thank you SO much for taking the time to do this. In the interim, I figured out how to do it with Expression Web 4, now available for free. (Believe me--when Microsoft offers something for nothing, I'm suspicious, but ...

Embedding Youtube in a Quark Web Layout?

Thanks for taking the time to do that for me--I really appreciate it. SInce I posted my query, I played Sherlock Holmes and kind of figured it out. I downloaded Microsoft Web Express 4, which is available for free these days, and it offers a WYSIWYG preview pane. However, I still want to learn how t...

Embedding Youtube in a Quark Web Layout?

The text box referenced above is a text box you create in your HTML layout in the size and location of where you want the YouTube video to appear. It acts as a placeholder for the video and video embed code. When you replace the brackets in the HTML code, as mentioned above, the box is replaced wit...

Another stupid web question--linking a small image on your p

Yes, boys and girls--someone CAN be so stupid as to ask a question like this. BUT GIVE ME A BREAK! I'M 56, NOT 10! AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND! I have an image of 144 by 72 on the page , for example. And I want the lucky visitor to my site to be able to click on that image and get the 432 by 216 version ...

Quark Xpress not used that much anymore?

Hello,I'm used to send PDF/X-1a:2001 files (1 per page) to printers for large multi-pages documents - I export with Xpress 9 to .ps file and then make the pdf with acrobat distiller (MagazineAds_1v4 joboptions). I export "separate pages" (in Xpress export options) to a control folder of Acrobat Dis...

Quark Xpress not used that much anymore?

This is such a dead issue. Find a printer that will take a PDF. Printers still requiring the document, images and fonts are waiting your time. I switched to Indesign years ago, but have begun using Quark again and have no problems with any of the printers who accept PDF. Revise your workflow to sui...

Quark Marketing: File this under "we still dont get it"

And *POOF* its gone. *sigh*. Sorry, you guys still just dont get it. CC is announced 2 months ago, first available for download 2 weeks ago and thats all the time any older Quark user had to evaluate/decide to either be forced into the monthly Adobe fee or upgrade their older Quark. WHO CARES if th...
