Quark 7.31 and Suitcase X1

Hi Thanks for the information.I don't see the point of a font manager at the moment and thanks for the Apple font book advice!.Would I be right in thinking if I move the fonts from my 'clean fonts' folder into my user/library/fonts folder then my apps would find the fonts 'automatically?

Print to ps file woes

Hi Eric,

Yes I'm working with Acrobat (Pro) v8.12 - I guess the easy method is to isolate the PDF thats throwing its toys out of the pram - open up in Acrobat and convert to an ESP file as you advised.

Thats again for the pointers.

Joe.

Hi Eric, I've had a little look in Acrobat (8.12) Professional and what you say make sense and I will use this method - thank you very much. I would like to use this for the PDF's that are making my hair fall out - is there a way of checking which files are the 'problem' files? Again many thanks - J...

Print to ps file woes

Hi Eric, Thanks for your reply, I open up the file in Acrobat - then file export as Encapsulated PostScript. (this file will not pre-view in Quark so I open in Illustrator and save as - then import that EPS). I must admit I'm not over keen on tinkering with other peoples PDF files. The trouble is I o...
