options grayed out

I have a traditional multi-page print layout document, and am trying to export as an epub with fixed layout. However, when I go to File-Export-Layout as Epub, the options for ebook type are grayed out so I can't select, and Reflow is checked as the default. How can I select the fixed layout option? ...

Re: setting images to clipping paths

Clarifying my earlier question, using Image Grid and having all my images in one document, looking to see how to do the following to all images: 1.) set background to none (I know there is already a script for this built in) 2.) “Offset” the image in the box, “X" and “Y" by -0.075” and close the box...

setting images to clipping paths

I am looking for a way to select images in a folder and then put them into Quark in numerical order, at same size, with the borders of the images set to a clipping path. Each image has several embedded paths, but would only need to select one. Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

Hyperlinks in QXP9

Is there a way to automatically add hyperlinks to my Quark documents in places where my text starts out http://
Also, would want to make sure it gets the entire url if it ends up spilling over to a second line.
Thanks in advance for any help.

trouble updating images Quark 9

Thanks, I had that checked in my prefs but for some reason it didn't work. I downloaded Badia's Big Picture extension which seems to do it, as well as a few other neat things. Guess I'll have to buy it...Thanks again.

tables

I have a four-column table that is too long for one page, but it's not that wide. I'd like to split the table into two that both start at the top of the page. The one at right would be a continuation of the data from the one at left. I'd like to make the tables even at top and bottom. Not sure how t...

trouble updating images Quark 9

When I go to update images, which are all in one folder, it tells me others are found in this folder and do I wanrt to update them as well? I select ok, but it only updates some and not all. It then makes me manually update the remainder. Doesn't matter if I close and reopen the document, or close a...

space/align

If I have several object lined up the way I want in relation to each other, and then I want to center them on the page, it seems that I have to group. Otherwise It centers each item on the page and messes up my layout of the items.Seems that my only solution is to group the items and align them as a...

space/align

Now using Quark 9 (upgraded from version 6), and I see space/align is alot different. The ALAP extensions used to have a separate palette like scale does now, and you could grab several objects and align them to the page without having to group them. It seems that Quark 9 is two steps back - the ali...
