Re: Gradient in editable text

Hi Jiri,

ah, thanks, now I understand.

You can do that in QuarkXPress but only when you convert text to boxes (which can be anchored too).

Thanks

Re: Gradient in editable text

Hi Jiri,

sorry, not sure what you mean? Do you mean whether you apply a gradient to a text box? Yes, you can. Or whether you can edit a gradient that you have created and named? That's not possible directly, you need to apply it to a box, edit it and save again (and replace).

Thanks
Matthias

As this topic came up again in a recent thread on Facebook:
This has been fixed in QuarkXPress 2018.

Thanks

Re: QuarkXPress 2019 - Preview of the Week - Flex layouts

XTensions (plug-ins) in QuarkXPress 2019

Hi all, currently we are 99.99% certain that the QuarkXPress 2019 XDK (QuarkXPress interface for XTensions) will stay compatible with QuarkXPress 2018. So that means that most XTension that run in QX2018 will also run in QX2019. Two exceptions: The XTension makes use of a feature that is fundamental...

Re: QuarkXPress 8 compatibility with Windows 8

Hi, whether QuarkXPress was ever supported on Windows 8.1, you can see here: https://forums.quark.com/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=4608&f=14&t=4608#p26393 However "not supported" does not necessarily mean "will not run". It just means, we did not test it and will not help with issues that are specific to th...
