Choose a name and a destination in the dialog.I believe you can now open QuarkXPress 10 and use the same menu to import your setting. But as I dont' have a hand on Xpress 10 I can only guess...

Embedding fonts for PDF

Choosing in the File menu Export > Layout as PDF, then in the Fonts Options ticking Select All and there you go...As for the choice of the fonts used its a matter of taste but its generally admitted that serif fonts (Garamond, Times as example) are easier to read than sans serif (Helvetica, Futura).

PSD import stopped working

Which mode did you choose to create theses psd? Duotone? Bitmap? All flavors of PSD files are not supported, thats why some of them works and others dont. The message about the format refer to the actual mode of the image not the psd file format.

Imported multi-page PDF shows and prints wrong page

You can also export single pages in EPS from the PDF with Acrobat and import the EPS in XPress. Very simple. Others will tell you that XPress is not very PDF friendly. The fact is QuarkXPress prefer EPS than PDF.Like it... or not!
