Re: Drop Shadow lines in PDF

Matthias, Firstly, we are set up to flatten transparency in PDF Export. Zooming right into the image does NOT get rid of the white lines unfortunately. We then unchecked all boxes under rendering in Acrobat and this has resolved the white line problem. If we now leave these boxes unchecked, do you f...

Re: Drop Shadow lines in PDF

Matthias, Thank you for responding so swiftly. This project is for Print. The background and drop shadow are both using the same colour model. Our output settings are 'Downsample to 300dpi. Not sure how to flatten transparency or where we check Acrobat settings regarding 'Not Smooth Display to give ...

Drop Shadow lines in PDF

Hi, We are using a drop shadow behind some images within the page of our magazine. The background is a dark. Although not visible within Quark 10.5, once exported to PDF, the drop shadows all have very feint white lines around them. Have tried changing the 'Clipping' settings to various alternatives...

Only Portrait layout visible

Our magazine App is currently built for Portrait only but we have built some test pages using both Landscape and Portrait. We have gone into our publication, then settings and changed the 'Issue Orientation' to 'Portrait & Landscape'. However, we save this change, upload a test page to the portal an...

Re: Offering Page Samples

Matthias, Thank you for your response. We think that is what we are trying to achieve, however, don't understand where the checkbox is for 'downloading content when entitled'. Sorry to not explain correctly in original question. When you download many magazines these days, you get a couple of sample...

Offering Page Samples

We would like to be able to offer a page or two of samples when people download our magazine app initially, like you can with 'Metro' magazine and many others. We may be being a bit dumb here but can't seem to fathom out how the other guys do this. Our App is currently free to download (iTunes only ...

Scroll Zones

We have some of our Scroll Zone name tabs out of order along the top of our layout. Is it possible to get them back in order please? We have tried dragging them into place etc... but so far unable to do this. Working in 9.5.4.1 at present.

Layout Families IOS and Android

We are looking at adding Android to our App Studio capability and upgrading to Multi-issue Premium. Currently we only produce an IOS App and when we look at the 'Layout Properties' dialog box there is the choice between Tablet (iPad/Universal), Tablet(Kindle Fire), Phone (iPhone/Android) and Phone (...
