We hear that version 7 will have full support for OpenType fonts.
Version 7 was shown to a select few large Quark customers recently.

Actually the Adobe user guides are very reasonable ($49) much like Quarks ($45)The Adobe manuals are for all the CS products. So the price diferential for the Suite is still much better. If you buy the Adobe Suite you get no manuals, but if you buy the individual applications then you get the books, but to buy the whole suite individually cost a lot more. You can buy the printed manuals separately for the suite, just as you can for XPress. With both companies, they do supply PDF man...

v4.1 on WinXP-SP1

I have run older version on XP and found that they can be made to run as was suggested previously, but that if you can afford to go to version 6.1 you will be amazed at how much faster and efficient the application is. If you use XPress a lot, this is a very worthwhile investment.
