Unable to create the "filename.pdf" file

How long is the filename? If it is too long it won't always allow it.

Another way is to go to print normally, select the printer and then capture settings. Now try export to pdf.

Have a look in the print menu when you go to print and see if there is a style selected.

Another way would be to create the colours you mostly use before you open a document in quark and then quit quark. This will then save the colours and always start new documents with these colours in the colour palatte.

I wwould guess that the options you are using for colour management when printing from Photoshop are different from that of quark.

I have found that as long as the opi plug in is on and we make sure that opi is selected when we ouput the ps file then all is ok and we use distiller to remove the opi.
