Post by qaurkidiot » 23 Jun 2004, 21:35

I have a qxp file that was created in 6 and I only have quark 5. Is there a patch or plugin I can download to open this file?? I don't know anyone with access to 6 and the person who sent it to me is out of town. Any help is appreaciated.
Thanks
Bill

Download the 6.0 Demo from quark.com. That'll get you by for now.

Yes.

http://www.markzware.com/markztools5/

This is a Quark 4/5 plugin that will allow you to convert a Quark 6 document to a Quark 4/5 document.

Read the description carefully though, as there are caveats.

I don't think the demo lets you save, does it?

Hey Idiot (YOUR user name, not my insult)--wanna e-mail one of us and we'll convert for you?

XPress 6 demo can't save, but if all this individual needs to do is VIEW the file it should be just the trick.

Ira, I offered that when I first read his post... apparently he/she cannot do so.

peace,
Linda :)
