We have a user that we have been trying to upgrade to Quark Version 6 from 3.32. He was recently upgraded to Windows XP, which is a requirement for Version 6. When we attempt to install the upgrade, we get the splash screen followed by an installer error message "The Dll Being Called is Crashed" ... That is as far as we can get. I have contacted Quark several times, but they have not been able to help. I am hoping someone on this forum may have some advice on how to proceed ... other than pitching it in the trash. Thanks.

Try this!!
Logout off the network and make the user log in as the Administartor of the local machine. In control panel go to Network Connection and disable it.

Restart the machine, install Quark...
And
Good Luck :)

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, we did try this, with the same results. We have researched and talked with Quark, but they are out of ideas. Maybe a registry edit?? Any other ideas?? I appreciate your reply. 8)
