OS X 10.8.4, Quad Core with 32 GB RAM and it's, I'd say, at 50% performance rate compared to QX 9.5.Any suggestions to boost performance? Thanks!

I posted this yesterday and I'm surprised it didn't generate interest. Anyone out there in agreement with this topic? Any suggestions?

I agree. Most of the complaints seem to have gone into the 'Very Nice' thread (as clearly QX10 is NOT very nice). It's incredibly slow for me (almost as bad as InDesign).

Suggestions? Sorry no, I think I'm going to trash the trial and just carry on with QX9 until this is sorted (10.5 ?).

I don't suppose you're using multiple monitors, are you?

There are already several threads. I am on Windows, it is nigh unto unbearable. But not ever Mac user is experiencing the same slowness--there are one or two posters that are not experiencing the slowness, the stuttering, etc.

Hey Bjorn, no not using multiple displays. Wish I had gone trial. I bought it at the 20% off offer. Should've known better...

That's now changed (at least for me) after doing some further investigation see the main thread

I agree, unusably slow on my Mac Pro 2x2.8 quad core, 14GB ram. ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB

Can't see anything slowing it down and in fact it uses slightly less processor time than QXP9. There's something in the coding that needs fixing ASAP because QXP9 is not compatible with Mac OS 10.9 from what I've heard.

Same here on large images (treacle). It's as though Quark needs a low res preview now and again rather than a slow high res all time.
