First thanks for releasing this...opening up the 80 page document I was working on in 10 (extraordinarily slow with lots of "quits" and restarts to get "undo" to work properly, accidentally moving boxes etc...( was like meeting an old friend. One quirk...in 9.5.4, I'm importing multiple pictures to different picture boxes on a page. All the pics are in the same folder. Typically in any OSX app including the previous version of Quark 9 and the current version of Quark 10) when you go to import a picture it shows you the last directory you had just imported a picture from. Makes sense...but now in Quark 9.5.4, after importing the first picture, when I go to import the second it places me in the main Documents folder and I need to navigate back to where the other pictures are.Specifically when I click Command E to import I'm shown the intended/previous for a fraction of a second and then it jumps to the Documents folder.Would be lovely if this was not happening as it adds a lot of unnecessary navigation time to get back to the right folder when importing multiple pictures.

Not sure what OS you're on, but this seems to be the normal behavior I started seeing in Quark 8 when we moved to Snow Leopard.
One workaround is to drag the images folder into the Finder sidebar. If you then use the sidebar to access the folder, Quark will remember it.
Here's another workaround from this thread: p/29241/118220.aspx#118220. I couldn't get it to work, but others have.
Select image box, command-E to import a photo, switch to list view (no columns) via command 2, import photo. When you go to import another photo, it will go back to the root, leave in plain list view and navigate to the folder again by double clicking through the folders, import next image. The third image import should take you back to the correct folder. At least it does on this end. Mac 10.8.2/Quark 9.3. This of course needs be fixed in an update but for now it's the best workaround we've found and most importantly keeps you from having to navigate through folders hundreds of times.
Ideally this will be fixed and not require a workaround at some point.

Hi,I'm on Quark 9.5.4, Latest version of Mavericks.I hadn't experienced this issue before and have used Quark daily for years now (always upgrading to the latest version of Quark and OSX) so this issue of it not defaulting to the previous folder for picture import is brand new to me as of updating to Quark 9.5.4,Thanks for the workaround tips. :)
