Exporting PDFs & Transparency

Post by Jenuine33 » 04 Apr 2016, 13:25

I use Quark 10 on a Mac. I created a poster at 11x17 and resized it to 24x36. When I export to a press PDF for the 11x17 everything is fine. When I export to a press PDF for the 24x36 I get a white box behind a GS tiff image that is in the poster. It is the same artwork, etc... I can't figure out why it works for one and not the other. Can anyone help?

Perhaps once the poster is resized Q10 is needing to (attempt) to flatten the transparency differently causing that result.

Can you try altering the PDF setting to use Native Transparency and obtain the proper result?
