Quark 10 quits every time I open a document
The application crashes every time I open a Quark document. I emptied the folders in the Library Caches, restarted and got the same result. I used Disk Utility's First Aid. It showed everything was okay. I am guessing I need to reinstall Quark 10 on my iMac. Do I have to uninstall Quark before the reinstall, or can I just reinstall over existing application? Using OS 10.10.4 Yosemite. iMac is newer model just purchased in early December 2015. I'm leaning to this solution because I can open the same documents fine from other iMacs.

Update on my status. I just found out that the user of this iMac recently upgraded to El Capitan. I'm guessing Quark 10 is not usable in El Capitan?

Hi apolonio,
yes and no.
Correct, QuarkXPress 10 is NOT supported under El Capitan.
However as a courtesy to our customers we have fixed all known crash issues and made it available in an unsupported version:
