QuarkXpress 10 access denied when save

QuarkXpress 10 access denied when save

I've been working on a newsletter for the past 3 days in QuarkXPress 10. Today, all of the sudden, I can't SAVE or SAVE AS. I get an "Access Denied" message. I can "sometimes" SAVE as DOCNAME_1 and then next time DOCNAME_2 etc. But not always. I am working on Windows 10, on a personal PC not a network. I think my system was updated last night and something changed to cause this. I'm working against a deadline and need to be able to save my Quark doc. Please help

Can you save to a different location such as the desktop?

Yes it looks like I can save to the desktop but I don't know if that will be consistent or not.

There will likely be either something wrong with the permissions on the folder(s) you want to save to, or there is a process running on the files in that folder(s), such as syncing to dropbox or the like, an antivirus application scanning them, or even possibly being previewed Explorer.
