Quark 10.5.2.4 download?

Hi all

I have to troubleshoot a customer's Q10 file and after upgrading to Sierra our Q10 will not run. Not really a problem for us as we have Quark 2016 but our customer is using Q10 and I need to troubleshoot a cover file for them. I believe an (unsupported) version of Quark 10 was released to work with El Capitan and hopefully it will help with this later release of the OS. I have found a link to it but it just takes me back to the main download page. Is it still available anywhere?

Many thanks,
Iain

I can't find any link to any v10 quark anymore.
I seem to remember being unable to install v10 with Sierra. think there was a sudo hack to tell the mac that 10.12 was actually 10.9
If it helps to know I have 10.5.2.0 carried through upgrades Through Yosemite to El Capitan and High Sierra and it will open and run ok for a bit at least in High Sierra which it wouldn't do at all for me in El Capitan or Sierra.

Whats the actual issue maybe someone who still has access to Yosemite can help?

Sorry for the late reply - I didn't get notified about your replies.

The download worked and I am now running 10.5.2.4 - many thanks Jiri.

The problem I was trying to fix was that the customer was using a line (1-bit) image coloured black only and it was exporting to PDF as a CMYK black. I confirmed the line image is indeed line but now I have Quark 10 running again I tried to reproduce the error but I can only get a normal black file in the PDF. I can't get it to output incorrectly (like our customer was). I got them to use our output settings (PDF/X-1a) and they had the same result. If I use the same preset here in my Q10, using their document and image, it comes out correctly. I have never seen this behaviour before - any clues?

thanks,
Iain

I have moved this new query to the QuarkXPress 8, 9 & 10: Output (Printing & PDF Export) forum
