photos look jagged in layout (and print that way too)...

I use many photos of houses (exterior) in ads and have noticed recently that when I import a photo into a layout (used at 100% or smaller, 300dpi or higher, CMYK) into Quark 6.5 and 8 that the siding on the house/straight lines looks jagged in the photo. The photos look OK in photoshop. Is there a setting in Quark to resolve this? or ?[:^)] thanks!

Are they rotated by a fraction in the measurements palette? Can you do a screen grab and show us?

Use Tifs and use the checkbox in the print dialogue to send full resolution tiffs. If you export to PDF make sure the images are not downsampled, nor jpeged. And like dave says avoid small rotations.
