Panorama and image sequence in AppStudio

Post by AndAnAs » 26 Aug 2011, 13:31

Matthias, hello!
At me a question on functionality AppStudio for QuarkXPress which leaves the next weeks.

I have compared interactive possibilities InDesign CS 5.5:
Image
and similar possibilities AppStudio:
Image
I haven't found there here these functions:
- panorama,
- image sequence (sequence of images which automatically or at the command of the user is replaced, forming animation).

Probably, in AppStudio this functions is realized differently? Or it at all is absent? If so, whether that it is realized later?

Thanks for the fast and detailed answer.

Panorama and image sequence in AppStudio

Hi Andanas,
you have found a screenshot of the pre-release of App Studio, in the final there will be more buttons.
And what you call image sequence we call Slideshow and yes, you cna absolutely create this.
Please stay tuned, it is not long anymore until we release App Studio and then there will be lots of material explaining how easy it is. Plus, you can of course ask all questions here in the forum.
Maybe a seminar worth registering for: http://www.quark.com/About_Quark/Events ... aspx?id=77
Thanks
Matthias

Panorama and image sequence in AppStudio

Thanks, Matthias.
And what about panoramas which could be united in an infinite review?
Usually they prepare in the separate program, as a result consist of six images (four parts of the world, the sky and the ground).
Such possibility in AppStudio is provided?

Panorama and image sequence in AppStudio

Hi Andanas,
six images is the minimum for such panoramas, yes, however there is software that gets far better results if you use more than six pictures.
You can easily embed such panoramas created in HTML, HTML5 or Javascript format. More on this when App Studio ships.
Thanks
Matthias
