Printing to postcript file results in 0k filesize.

We justed installed a virtual printer using the distiller 6.0 ppd but when we want to print a postcriptfile (with XPress 6.1) the result is a useless 0k .ps file.
When we do the exact same thing with Indesign CS we get a perfect .ps file. So our conclusion is that XPress is screwing up somewhere or we are missing the right knowledge to make a postcript file with XPress 6.1.

In short: Help :!:

Best regards,

Andre.

Andre

Are you using OSX Panther, as if I remember on the Acrobat forum at Adobe something about using a different PPD which could solve such a problem. Another problem I had distilling .ps from Quark in Distiller 6 was to deslect the epilogue .ps and prologue .ps option and since postscipts have mostly distilled as distiller didn't even start processing them. It might be worth a try.javascriptemoticon(':?:')

I've also found 6.1's .ps utility rather poor, we use this...

works beautifully, even has a 'styles' function, where you can save different settings for different methods of creating .ps files.
