Another stupid web question--linking a small image on your p

Post by Ira » 02 Jul 2013, 00:57

Yes, boys and girls--someone CAN be so stupid as to ask a question like this.

BUT GIVE ME A BREAK! I'M 56, NOT 10! AND I DON'T UNDERSTAND!

I have an image of 144 by 72 on the page , for example. And I want the lucky visitor to my site to be able to click on that image and get the 432 by 216 version (again, for example).

Can I just use place the large version on the page (reduced), and after the export, the visitor will be able to click on it for the full size? Or does the export reduce the original size, and instead, I have to first drag my full size images into the images folder on my server, and create a link from the small version on the page to the this full size version I dragged to the images folder?

And if you ever feel bad about your life, just look at what I'M going through here trying to learn this web stuff.
