When we were using quark 6.5, we had box text like "With countertops, whats on the ".We are attempting to migrate to quark 7 and using xml to communicate with are quark server. We are using: and I am converting the into for the xml to go through. When the pdf comes back, the text in the pdf has character 213 but it is not the mac roman character for the apostrophe, it is a which is from the ISO-88591 character set, not the mac-roman character set. I have a solution which I do not like which is to translate my mac-roman into iso-8859-1 myself. The above gets converted to . This works but I would rather be able to use are current box text data the way it is now.The server is on a mac and the calling software is on a pc.Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions to this? Thanks,Brian
