QLA server wont dish out new licenses

Post by a_hardcastle » 19 Feb 2009, 00:46

Hi,I'd added 3 extra licenses to our existing QLA server, I did this by going to the website and adding the new serial, generating a new QLAlicense.dat file, replacing on both primary and backup QLA servers and restarting, the licenses show up as a 13 user and a 3 user but the 13 gets used, to the full, and then the server refuses extra licenses, the 3 new licenses are never used.I have no pools, lock nodes, extended licenses or anything fancy - I just want a 16 user license [13+3] to be handed out to the users that want a license - what do I do?regards,Adrian

Dear Adrian,
Please perform the below mentioned steps in order to resolve the issue:-
1. Navigate to HDD/Applications/Quark License Administrator/Server folder and delete save.dat and HWM usage.dat file.
2. Delete QLALicense.dat file from the same location and download a new license file.
Restart the server and then see the results.
