Server Crashing Information - Invalid license file or Host I

Post by qprcanada » 01 Dec 2008, 06:46

Our server (Mac OS 10.5.5 running QLA 4.5) crashed over the weekend and when I rebooted it QLA started with this error. I have downloaded the license file a few times and am still getting this error. I also uninstalled QLA 4.5 and reinstalled it without any change in the error. I have tried installing it as a service or as an application without any changes in the error.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

Server Crashing Information - Invalid license file or Host I

Hi,
Please Double check the IP address and Ethernet ID and then redownload the license file.
Place the Qlalicense.dat file inside the server folder of Quark License Administrator and then restart the machine.
Quark License Administrator server would be running as service on restart.
Then try to launchQuarkXPressand see it works. (please also check qlaclient.properties under QuarkXPress folder)
I hope this helps

Server Crashing Information - Invalid license file or Host I

Problem solved, the server crash necessitated the reconfiguration of the preferred order of the Java versions. Once this was completed the server is running again. :)
