Hi all,
have a look at http://www.factoriaediciones.net/ColePET.swf, a nicely designed site created in QuarkXPress 8 that contains amazing illustrations.
Enjoy!
Matthias

Hello Matthias,How do you create the rollover effect they have on this site where the image shows larger when the smaller icon is rolled over? This is exactly what I want to create on my illustration site.Thank you,Atomic Werewolf

Hi Atomic Werewolf,
I haven't seen the QXP myself, so I assume it was by creating a "mouse enter" event triggering a "show object" action within the script. The script just assures that the other pictures are hidden, so it will have a bunch of "hide object" actions to hide all other objects first.
Does that explain it?
Thanks
Matthais

Hi Matthais,Would there be any video tutorials on the site explaining this? I'm new at the web design side of Quark. I've been a print designer for 25+ years and the web is still new to me.Thank you very much for your help,Atomic Werewolf

Hi Atomic Werewolf,
when you say "web", do you mean HTML or Flash (SWF)? These samples here are build using the SWF Export of QuarkXPress, of course you can also do rollovers with the Web layout (HTML export).
Thanks
Matthias

I really how they used the mouse enter and mouse exit feature with the fade transition to show the larger versions of the images. I think that seems a lot smoother than requiring the viewer to click the thumbnail. I may have to go back and use that idea on my site.
