list with radio buttons

Post by MarkyBoy » 06 Nov 2012, 00:24

Is it possible to create a list with radio buttons to select a list item?
I can't find any options to do this!

list with radio buttons

Hi Mark,
not sure I understand. Do you mean that onyl one radio button can be selected at a time? If yes, then the answer is yes. Button groups achieve this.

Matthias

Thanks Matthias... Yes, a list of items each with a radio button and you can select one item at a time, so like a list but with radio buttons.... I haven't explored button groups yet... So, is this how I do it: make an 'on/off' button as a new layout then use this button once for each option I want and then group all the options and define the group as an interactive object?

Correct. The only thing you need to do to make this work is to group on/off buttons and name the group (as an interactive object).
Thanks
Matthias

Great, that works well... I have the group of radio buttons appearing in a window and filling in the form depending on which button is selected and it works very well... designing all the over and on states and then defining the text for on and off for each button is a bit confusing, but it's done and works well!
