Beginner Animation

I am looking to create a simple animation in Quark. Literally just have objects (imported images) appear on a background image one after another with no interactivity. Where do I start? Is there a simple way to do that without watching all of the seminars? Or is a beginners seminar that explains a simple animation from start to finish? Most of the seminars I have started watching says to watch the one before it, but I can't seem to get that basic info. I have been using Quark for over 20 years, but have never created a single interactive or web file using it. Is there a simple way? One that is only a few steps? Thanks,Mark
