Hi Volker,
yes of course.
For a general explanation see here: p/16642/70101.aspx#70101
For a 60 sec video see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIkuhBUb ... F5&index=8

Hi Matthias, thanks for your quick answer, im thinking about something like a slider - and if possible - a custom one...Is this possible?

Hi Volker,
do you mean to e.g. advance the video? If yes, then unfortunately that isn't possible, only Play/Pause/Stop.
If you just want to show the progress of the video, then yes, that can be done.

Matthias

Hi Matthias (and Volker),
I followed this inspiring Quark video seminar yesterday from a guy with a German accent... :-) and had the same question. How can you build in a progress bar, preferably with seconds (seconds played / still to play). Same with a sound bar editing the volume.
Regards,
David

Hi David,
yeah, a colleague of mine gave that yesterday, hope you enjoyed it.

To build a progress bar is easy: if your video is 2 minutes long just have a bar (box) move over the same time, from left to right.
If somebody pauses your video, pause the bar too and have it move again.
Does that make sense?
Thanks
Matthias

Yes, that makes sense. Is it possible to adjusting the sound level with a bar?

David

Yes. Not by action, but by using Expressions.
Thanks

Looks like Filemaker, but a bit different... ;-). Where can I learn more using Expressions? Especially with regards to sound.

David
