Color Distortion of Videos

Post by Gressa » 09 Mar 2010, 15:39

I'm working on playing several videos in Quark Interactive. The videos look great in color and clarity when played in Quick Time. But when I export my presentation with Quark, the color gets distored and the video quality gets pixelated. Any ideas how I can fix this?

Hi Gressa,
When you play the video in Quick Time what format is it? Interactive Designer converts the video into FLV or SWF depending upon what you select in video type dropdown in Interactive Palette.
You can also modify the video export settings using the Export Settings button located in Interactive Palette when you create video object.
Hope it helps,
JB

I'm importing the video fils as either .mov or .avi files. The color distortion comes in when I export as a .swf file.
