Photoshop files no longer transparent

Post by Lance_M » 10 May 2016, 17:06

When exporting to PDF, photoshop files suddenly loose their transparency. The image will either have some form of lines or the original background before it was deleted (These are single layer transparent images with NO hidden layers...it magically adds it in somehow) very frustrating as I have to close everything down, launch cache cleaner and re export.

Hi Lance_M,

Thank you for contacting Quark.

Kindly provide the CFO of the affected project to verify the issue.

Also, kindly try to output in flattening or native transparency settings.

Delete the temp files created in the OS level (inside the var folder in Mac OS) and restart the system and delete the QuarkXPress preferences and launch and output again and verify.

Kindly send the files to apalaniappan@quark.com

Thanks
A. Palaniappan
