Is it possible to produce a pie chart in Quarkxpress 2015?

It's not.

However what you can do in QX2016/2017 is to create a pie chart in MS Excel and then convert it to native objects.

And there are some other options than Excel. I tend to use Edraw Infographic for much/most of my charting. But there are fonts that can build simple charts and format them with color. I cannot recall if version 2015 has the capability or not to use at least one of the fonts available.
