I constantly encounter message - File is already open for writing. [-49] - after editing and saving a file. I have auto save and auto backup turned off. Could it possibly be because I move a file folder to a new location? Am I doing something wrong when I create the file folder?Everything needed is in the folder, images, etc.
I create a file, save it to a folder, then after editing the file and trying to save I get, File is already open for writing. [-49]. I have to save it to a new location then manually move it into the folder, which then allows me to replace it. any help appreciated, a very annoying quirk.

Hello Lee. A couple things spring to mind. One would be anti-virus software can lock a file while inspecting it. Back-up software can appear to keep a file open. And saving to a drive that is automatically backed-up or is mirrored (like to an online storage location).
