this is sample of the output. Are you able to see the shaded box around the images?

Yep, I see it. Not much I cam do or say without the images. Seeing how at least one is a commercial image we should handle this either via email or PM. I'll send you a PM with my email address and you can simply send them that way. You should still ZIP the images.

i sent the actual image prior to sending this phone shot. Did you see it?

The file placed in the quark document is saved as a tif but for delivering to you, i saved it as a jpg. Do you need the actual tif i'm using compressed?

The JPG? Yes, I see it. I thought the original is a TIFF. I'll look at it now after converting it to a gray JPG and a gray TIFF.

yes, the original is a tiff but the original 569k image is 300k when compressed. Why it the limit 256k here? Not many attachments are ever that small!

It is a small limit. Which is why people upload to dropbox.com and the like.

I tried three different PDF profiles. They all output the same as per the screen shot. In Acrobat, the color picker is in an area where there should be no ink. And indeed, there is no ink. It prints exactly the same to two different printers.

I have added a ZIP file of the JPG I converted to a grayscale TIFF. Does the problem still exist using this file in a BLANK document?

I apologize but i can't test this right now. I'm outside of the office where the document, and all devices are. Can we pick this up on Tuesday, 27 July?
