Save an Edited PDF option as default

I have edited the press option, but i want to make it the default pdf setting.

QXP will "capture"the last used PDF profile and use it until changed. It will not display the name but rather show the "Captured" name. It will still sue those last settings.

I would like the name for any last used PDF profile to be displayed instead, but at present this is how Q works.

still not convenient though because don't it just save it for that current document? not all documents?

It is saved until it is changed.

Which is exactly the issue I have with it. How does one really know whether the last used settings are what I want to use if I cannot see my preset's name as the last used profile.

Go to Edit > Output Styles > New... then input whatever setting you need. Then the new output style can be choosen in the Export dialog box.
