Calculations Xtensions?

Is there a way to add (simple) calculations to Quark Xpress? Perhaps via an Xtension or so?
i.e. for example a couple of text fields with numbers in them which are added and the sum appears in a third text field.

Which version of QuarkXPress are you using? Are you exporting as HTML?

I am using Quark XPress version 2016 (12.2.1) and am not exporting to html but to PDF though.
The calculations need to be done in an invoice layout, the exported PDF's I send to customers.

QuarkXPress does not support exporting form based PDFs. You may have to use a third party tool to achieve this after exporting the PDF from QuarkXPress.

But when I would not export it as PDF, would it then be possible via QXP and/or a third party XTension? And which XTension then? I searched high and low but cannot find anything.

Thanks for the pointer, not exactly what I was looking for though. Guess what I want is not possible.

I have seen such PDF forms. So it definitely is possible. However I have not used such a tool myself. I am sure some one with experience will chime in here.

To get things clear: I am in principal after a calculation that is done in the layout of QXP
The I would like to export the layout as PDF (with the calculation in it), so not as PDF form.

Oh, I am sorry I mixed things up.

That is not possible, easily. You should try and link to external data, like an excel file, where such calculations are possible. You may use the Table Import feature to achieve this (with some workarounds).

If you want something more complex, Xdata XTension can help:
