Quark 2016 Crashes instantly at startup (Windows 10)

Hi,

when I start Quark 2016, the splash screen shows up for a while and thereafter, the application instantly terminates.

My operating system is Windows 10.

If you need more information about the system, please let me know :)

Hi Peter,

did you try typical troubleshooting steps, delete preferences, delete cache, check permissions, disable fonts and disable 3rd party XTensions?

If yes, have you contacted Tech Support yet?

Almost certainly will help:
Path:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Quark\QuarkXPress 2016
Delete folder:
QuarkXPress 2016

I recommend always after installing QuarkXPress: Set preferences and back up the QuarkXPress 201x folder. In the event of a crash, you simply remove the defective folder and replace it with a backup. In a minute, you can continue to work.
