Purchasing / Buying
Q. I’m using version 3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10 can I upgrade to QuarkXPress 2016?
A. You can upgrade from any version, yes.
Q. I already have QuarkXPress 2015. Do I get a special offer?
A. Yes, everybody who owns QuarkXPress 2015 can buy a rebated upgrade to QuarkXPress 2016. The upgrade price for QuarkXPress 2015 users is 50% lower than the "normal" upgrade price (so upgrades from version 3 through 10).
Q. What operating systems does QuarkXPress 2016 support?
A. Please see here: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=26911
Q. I am running a 32-Bit version of Windows, what does that mean for me?
A. Please upgrade to a 64-Bit version of Windows, which will give you greater security and you should see improved performance too. If that is not an option, you need to stay with QuarkXPress 10, the last 32-bit version of QuarkXPress for Windows.
Q. Why doesn't Quark offer upgrades for Edu licenses?
A. Edu licenses have such a low price, which is even less than an upgrade, so it is better for you to buy a new license of QuarkXPress 2016. Since Nov 1, 2015, Edu prices for a new version are €79/£69/$89/¥10,000.
