Jewish Cookbook: Lines and Curves

Post by PetarMakedonecot » 10 Apr 2016, 07:00

Every recipe in a Jewish Cookbook starts something like this:

Ingredients:
"Borrow a few eggs from the neighbor..." :D

So I will make some suggestions on Lines/Curves theme in connection with this cookbook:
CD = CorelDRAW
XDP = Xara Designer Pro

Ingredients:
Bezier Pen Tool (BPT) and no other tools connected with this tool like "Add point Tool"...

Recipe:
1. Click few times with BPT selected and make opened multi line segment or closed shape object;
2. (Borrowed from CD) click 2 times on line/curve segment to add a new point (node);
3. (Borrowed from CD) click 2 times on point (node) to delete it;
4. Select 2 or more points (nodes) and press X to convert the segments from lines to curves or opposite;
5. Select a point and press C to make it "Cusp", press T for "Smooth (Tangent)", press S for "Symmetrical";
6. (Borrowed from XDP) to convert a line segment into curve just press the left mouse button at any part of the line and drag it in desired direction.

P.S.
XDP name for this tool is "Shape Tool". I think this is more appropriate name for the tool I suggest. And it could be, also, the only tool for any kind of lines/curves drawings.
