Convert to Native Objects stopped working

Post by rocketman59 » 24 Apr 2017, 19:12

With QXP 2016 12.2.1, converting a PDF or anything else to a native object doesn't work for me anymore; the option is greyed out, and I can't even ungroup the items that make up the "image" I imported. Tried converting it to EPS and importing that, but the results are the same: no ability to ungroup, send to front/back, or even convert to native objects.

Is this happening to others, since it never happened before this most recent update to 12.2.1? Any solutions?

Hi Rocketman59,

Thank you for contacting Quark and sharing the feedback.

If the imported EPS/PDF is pure raster format (which doesn't contains any vector shape/text) and attributes, the option will be disabled.

Kindly import the EPS/PDF having vector object/element and then convert to native and let me know your result. (it can be lines/frames/text/any shapes)

If you have any issue kindly perform collect for output (project, fonts, images, profiles) and send to apalaniappan@quark.com to analyze.

Thanks
