No red overflow symbol appears in document

Post by AndreaG » 10 May 2018, 14:27

I help produce a weekly newspaper in Quark 2016, and I'm wondering why a red overflow symbol does not appear when a text box has overflow text. I see it when I work on other documents, but not in the newspaper doc. Is there perhaps a setting I need to change to get the overflow symbol to activate? Why would it show up for other documents, but not this particular one?

Thank you! I knew it must be something simple.
