Font not embedding in a PDF?

I wonder, has anyone had the same problem with a font not embedding when exported as a PDF? I have a active font which displays correctly and shows in 'Usage >'Fonts'. However, when I PDF I have no text? The font is selected to 'Download' in PDF Export Options, but annoyingly it fails to embed in the PDF although the other fonts do. Although when I look at the 'Summary' section the font doesn't show, but the other fonts do. If I 'do a collect for output though the font IS collected, so the issue seems confined to exporting to PDF.

Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be gratefully received. Thanks.

Thank you for contacting Quark.

It seems the fonts might be having the embedding restriction.

Kindly click on the options and go to fonts tab and select the font to download and deselect and verify.

If you have any issues kindly perform collect for output of the project (with images, fonts, profile) and send to apalaniappan@quark.com to analyze the issue.

I have tried with the font selected and also deselected in the options download font tab and this doesn't fix the problem. However, I have opened the document on another Mac and the font does export correctly to PDF from that machine. So it seems to be an issue with my Quark set-up and not the document?

Font conflict. I fixed this by resolving the duplicated font found in Font Book. Not a QXP issue, but a Mac system font problem.
