as we have been asked this now a few times, let me explain again why we will stop supporting Windows 7 with all versions released in 2019 or later.
Microsoft (the creator of Windows 7) has announced that they will stop supporting Windows 7 on January:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hel ... fact-sheetMicrosoft wrote:
Windows 7, service pack 1*
End of mainstream support: January 13, 2015
End of extended support: January 14, 2020
So we too will stop supporting Windows 7 on January 14, 2020.
And starting Jan 1, 2019, product development will not certify/verify any version of QuarkXPress on Windows 7 anymore. Therefore QuarkXPress 2018 will be the last version to officially support Windows 7.
Of course it probably will still work, as we still know of customers running QuarkXPress on Windows XP, though we do not support that anymore.
