When I configured QXP2018 to our company standards, I also imported former output styles exported as XML from QXP2016 and QXP2017 from our project documentations and evaluated the results.
Issue in detail
When editing the output styles in QXP2018 the section "Metadata" is gone in both the global general editing dialog and the subdialog during the export session.
After importing existing styles via XML from former QXP versions into QXP2018, existing docinfo metadata present in the xml is imported into QXP2018 but not visible in the UI.
After exporting a PDF using an imported output style from before QXP2018 containing metadata presets,
- the former metadata preset is written by QXP2018 into the PDF as is.
- You have to review the PDF and manually remove or edit the metadata.
- The data is not manageable in QXP2018 but only by exporting and editing the XML by hand.
