how to integrate PHP and mySql in Quark 8

Post by MarkyBoy » 02 Nov 2012, 06:28

Hi Matthias.. Could you tell me the purpose of the 'resulttext' box... I thought it was to collect the data entered in to the editable text boxes, but there's no mention of it in the script apart from at the very end when it says to post the 'resulttext' box?
Or does the script simply send any data that is in any editable text box on the page?
I'm asking because I would like to have lots more editable text boxes filled in before hand and then open a similar box to this one at the just to get customer name and email but I need to submit the data in all the other text boxes that I made at the same time?

Hi Mark,
the result is the result coming back from the PHP script (or any other server response).
Thanks
Matthias

Thanks Matthias, so the submit button will send any data in all text boxes on the page?

Hi Mark,
in all "interactive" text boxes, yes. Not in static ones.

Thanks
Matthias
