Button to Print Page (s) HTML5 Publication

Post by saratogacoach » 28 Aug 2018, 09:39

I have been searching to see if user-initiated printing is an option for HTML5 publications, but have not found anything about this. I suspect it does not yet exist, and would be a useful addition to a Wish List.

Specifically, giving the reader of an HTML5 publication the option to print one or more (all?) pages in the document. If they had a PDF printing engine installed, also allowing an option to print to PDF.

Hope this could be added, maybe as an HTML5 interactive option, at some future time.

Hi Sara,

you can use the print function of the browser to print the current pages.

And you can prepare a PDF of the HTML5 Publication layout in QuarkXPress and offer it for downloading.

Thanks
Matthias
