Save as postscript naming

Post by ChrisPitzer » 13 Sep 2018, 14:09

OK. Weird question...

The way we make PDF files is to save as a postscript file, then rip the file through Adobe Distiller.

Up until a few days ago when I "printed" the layout to a PS file, it would ask me if I wanted to use the .qxp suffix or the .ps suffix.

I would always say the .ps suffix.

While I was out of the office, someone jumped on my machine and created some PS files, and must have saved the setting to name it with a "qxp.ps" suffix.

Is there any way to get rid of that setting? I tried dumping my Xpress Prefs, but that didn't seem to do the trick.

Thanks for any info.
