blurring edges

Post by Thomahawk » 21 Dec 2018, 03:51

How can I make edges transparently blurred? Could not find any mention of this in the userguide. Would be one of the very basic functions one expects. And of course this is meant to work with pictures inside too. Example here, I did the second quickly in indesign:

Here another problem. Gray text in a box. I set the box to "multiplicate" overlay modus. Text should now be darker then the image. Nothings happens.

Cannot help with the blurring of edges thing. I don't think it is currently possible, but I don't do such things in a layout application anyway.

As for the gray text / multiply issue, I don't know why it is not working for you. Did you select the text and apply the multiply blend mode on it?

No, not that. This works only with the text. I set it for the whole box, means the whole content, text/images must multiply.
