Request for History Palette

Post by Yankeese » 02 Jul 2019, 14:53

I'd like to see a History Palette added to the Undo/Redo functionality of QX. Photoshop and other programs have had this for years. It is much more efficient than cycling through endless Ctrl-Z keystrokes. A user can go to a point in the editing history that is just before a sequence was initiated, and clear out that sequence by beginning a new one. Or the user can simply go back to the state of the file when it was first opened, or after the first two or three edits, without having to revert to saved. I saw that a similar request was made on this forum in 2010, but obviously nothing has happened since then. I'd like to jumpstart a campaign to include it. I have submitted the issue to QX Support, but it would help if other users joined in. I'm quite surprised that Quark users haven't been more keen on this feature. It is immensely useful, a great time saver.
